CAMPUS VISIT

We strongly recommend a visit to our campus. Families often will visit during the winter, combining a race weekend with visiting classes. You will find that Rowland Hall and Rowmark Ski Academy are a short 15-minute drive from the Salt Lake International Airport, ten blocks from the University of Utah, and 30 minutes from our Park City and Snowbird training facilities.

While we will do our best to accommodate your schedule, we recommend weekends for a visit. Either Friday - Sunday or Saturday - Monday works for us.

Admission

We have found that student/athletes who have the best experience at Rowmark Ski Academy and Rowland Hall are:

  1. Good students who are serious about academics
  2. Passionate about ski racing
  3. Good citizens interested in a team concept

Rowmark Ski Academy is for athletes ninth grade and up. Our application deadline is April 1. All application materials are included in our information packet.

Financial Aid

Rowland Hall values socio-economic diversity and families with need are encouraged to pursue financial aid. All financial aid awards at Rowland Hall are grants, not loans, and do not have to be paid back. Currently the school provides aid to 18% of students in grades one through twelve.

Rowland Hall awarded $78,000 in financial aid to Rowmark Ski Academy skiers for the 2009-2010 academic year. The majority of funds we award are for need-based financial aid. However, Rowmark does have a small amount of merit based/non need-based scholarship money.
